Felt Ornament

1. Cover Wool Core with colored wool, tacking it in place with a felting needle. Different colors may be used to create a simple background.

2. Place a drop of dish detergent in your hands and rub hands together. Then roll the ornament around in hands to coat with soap.

3. Wet ornament under hot water and cintinue to roll between hands using gentle pressure until covering feels like a fairly solid fabric. (about 5 minutes).

4. Rinse in first hot, then cold water while continuing to work between hands until most of soap is out.

5. Gently squeeze water from ornament and dry in clothes dryer.

6. Now have fun decorationg wiht beads, needle felting, embroidery, glitter glue, etc.
